Strengthening Indigenous Non-Government Organisations

This initiative provides practical support to approximately 150 Indigenous managed organisations funded by the Department of Communities.

These organisations receive funding to deliver programs across a wide range of service areas including homelessness, child care, youth development, family support and domestic violence prevention.

What can we do to help?

• VOICE CD-ROM available free and full of resources for running an Indigenous organisation.
• Regional project officers located in Brisbane, Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns and Mount Isa can provide Indigenous organisations with local, in person support.
