Introduction

Welcome to the unit Work within a Legal and Ethical Framework (CHCCS301A).

All workers, regardless of their field or profession, operate within a legal and ethical framework of some kind. This simply means that we all work within the boundaries defined by applicable laws and ethical standards.

This section provides underpinning knowledge of the Australian legal framework and key legal concepts.  The legal framework refers to the system of relevant federal and state constitutions, Acts of parliament and regulations which all community and disability services workers must comply with.
