Use of cultural checklists

Checklist for cultural assessment

It is obvious that cultural differences and cultural awareness are two important aspects of working with CALD communities.  Click on a sample checklist for community service and disability service workers to use when working with culturally diverse clients.

Communication checklist

Another main cause of cross-cultural misunderstandings and conflict is related to problems in communication.  We have also adapted the Queensland Health Communication Checklist , which highlights the potential problems in communication that may exist.
